The Thompson Family — Owners & Home Repair Specialists

Fix It Pros is a family-owned business built on years of hands-on experience in home renovations, property maintenance, and real estate. From crooked doors and mystery squeaks to those “how did this hole get here?” situations, we know that even the smallest repairs can make a big difference.

With extensive experience renovating homes, managing rental properties, and tackling never-ending punch lists, the Thompson family understands what homeowners and Realtors need: quality work, attention to detail, and someone who actually shows up when they say they will.

⭐ Our Story — From Real Estate to Reliable Home Repairs

Fix It Pros was born the same way many great ideas are: out of pure frustration… and way too many “Why did we pay for this?” moments.

After years of renovating homes and hiring contractors who were unreliable, late, or just didn’t deliver the quality we expected, we kept ending up doing the repairs after the repairs. Eventually, we stopped calling for help and started doing the work ourselves — and surprise, surprise… we actually loved it (and we were pretty good at it, too).

And just like that, Fix It Pros started taking shape.

As we kept renovating homes, managing rental turnovers, and getting properties ready for the real estate market, one thing became painfully obvious: finding a reliable handyman in Gainesville who was responsive, detailed, and could work quickly felt like searching for a unicorn. Homeowners, landlords, and Realtors all needed a reliable go-to… but finding one wasn't easy.

So the Thompson family decided to build the solution we could never find.

Today, Fix It Pros is exactly the service we wished we could have hired years ago — dependable, professional, detail-oriented, and actually fun to work with.

Because home repairs shouldn’t be a headache. And with us, they aren’t.
