Fix It Pros was born the same way many great ideas are: out of pure frustration… and way too many “Why did we pay for this?” moments.

After years of renovating homes and hiring contractors who were unreliable, late, or just didn’t deliver the quality we expected, we kept ending up doing the repairs after the repairs. Eventually, we stopped calling for help and started doing the work ourselves — and surprise, surprise… we actually loved it (and we were pretty good at it, too).

And just like that, Fix It Pros started taking shape.

As we kept renovating homes, managing rental turnovers, and getting properties ready for the real estate market, one thing became painfully obvious: finding a handyman in Gainesville who was responsive, detailed, and could work quickly felt like searching for a unicorn. Homeowners, landlords, and Realtors all needed a reliable go-to… but that person just didn’t exist.

So we decided to build the solution we could never find.
